Same. I can easily buy a corrupt city machine filling in 6,000 ballots overnight. I find a software hack / remote login less likely.https://twitter.com/baseballcrank/status/1326656396356677635 …

I could be convinced on the individual ballots, but even that’s a huge undertaking. I’d need to see evidence to be convinced. Few ballots? Meh. Thousands, and without leaving footprints all over it? Would take lots of planning, then luck in executing. (This scrutiny was a given.)

I think it's pretty widely accepted that a handful of big city Dem machines rig elections w fake votes...usually just for small offices tho. Oh, gosh, look, one of the 3 of 4 cities where we think it happened this yr https://www.inquirer.com/news/voter-fraud-philadelphia-ward-leader-judge-of-elections-domenick-demuro-guilty-plea-20200521.html …

You don’t have to dig far in my timeline to see that I think it’s impossible to be too cynical about American politics and politicians. I wouldn’t put it past them. Also, democracy is fragile and utterly dependent on trust. Unproven claims of meaningful* fraud can be dangerous.

*- All fraud is meaningful in the broadest sense, and it should be prosecuted to the fullest when found. In this context, I use it to mean outcome-determinative (ie flipped the real result). Making such claims just for political points is corrosive to the whole system.

Making such claims if they're plausible and the EC has not yet voted and therefore its early enough to fix is not corrosive!

Sorry. I meant to restrict that to “claims of fraud with no (or very weak) evidence.” There should be observers and audits. The only claims I’ve heard that observers are being excluded have already torched their credibility. (That’s the real problem. We have no honest brokers.)

I've seen video that purports to be observers excluded
