Radley, you know you're full of shit, right? We have a range of opinions at Reason, as you well know. But -- apparently unlike you -- we don't go all-in for one of the big political cults. We're skeptical of anybody who would use and abuse government power. That used to be you.

You seem really upset that we're not embracing the Biden administration, and that we were insufficiently critical of the Trump administration.

Or, at least, that's your interpretation.

I don’t care about the Biden administration. I do think Trumpism is uniquely dangerous, especially now. And I think too many libertarians have been pretty dismissive of how unique a threat this administration has been.

I don't even think that Trump is uniquely dangerous, just a weird version of normal horrific, and I still will never understand the aggregate Reason focus on college kids and liberals being dumb.

But the idea that college protest or rabble rousing is all the same, and the same level of anti-freedom is just weird.

"rabble rousing" is covering a lot of territory here knocking over goal posts after a football game is different from Cultural Revolution mob tactics pressuring administrators to fire professors for being left wing but INSUFFICIENTLY left wing I don't worry about athletic gear

I'm not going to fault your for wanting to mute key words used by idiots in idiot discourse. But please note that I'm not the kind of person who calls raising the top tax rate from 28 to 33% "communism". There is something specifically Maoist and totalizing about this crowd.
