gotta agree with that I work 9-5 at my day job, and then homestead / farm on the weekends, and before/after work it's very very very hard to make money farming; you're delivering a commodity and competing against huge machines and people who went to college for this skill

I was around 40 when I did it, and I was running my own firm at the time, so it was kind of easy. ...but OTOH, the firm was dying, so actually it wasn't. I shut it down, used recruiters, and also cold called contacts. I was panicked that it'd be hard to find work, but it's not
