Microwave ramen from costco is precisely as good as it should be for $0.29/unit.

I ate that kinda shit all the time when I was a kid. Honestly makes me wonder if I left a centimeter of height or an IQ point or two on the table. <eats two bags of licorice> "Is this my genetic potential?"

For fun, I sometimes look at google reviews for the local chain of all-you-can-eat, family-oriented spaghetti restaurants. People complain about the atmosphere (loud, kids), the décor (kitschy), and of course, the less-than-3-michelin-star pasta.

As someone noted in their replies, the frozen ramen you add water to is very good.

If you have to eat cheapass ramen, microwave the water, and pour boiling water onto the dried ramen. It's a little better that way. Also, 380 calories for less than 20c? You're not buying it for the taste.

The best ramen is always at a stall between 10pm and 2 in the morning.
