Me, late nineties, college speech class; I do a persuasive speech on how recycling programs cause more pollution. Class was dumbfounded. Professor loved it. Somebody actually asked if I hated the environment. Lol.

I remember when Peak Oil said we about to run out of oil and everyone was going to die. Then there was too much oil and we're going to boil the planet. I've searched for the great scientific discovery that changed everyone's mind one day, but can't find it.
