One-size-fits-all justice rarely provides justice. TX 3 strikes structure is to increase range to 25-life on a 3rd felony. Mandatory minimums are always dumb policy, making a blunt instrument even blunter. (Also, too many “felonies” now.) Scalpel > Knife > Axe > Sledge Hammer
