6/ My dad - a son of an iron worker, who then dropped out of college and took odd jobs - worked his way up to one level below VP at a huge company. Now rich, owns multiple houses, multiple cars, a boat, vacations in Europe, etc. - has two stories. >>>

7/ One is about the time he tried to get a job as a gopher for the ironworkers. He showed up in overalls, with workgloves, boots, and a lunch pail. Two other guys showed up in chinos and nice shirts. He got hired.
