2/ "specify the header using a domain specific language that we imply but do not actually define" so instead of specify it as :string and then returning the string "<tag1> <tag2> <tag3/> </tag2> </tag1>" I need to specify it as a TYPE in this DSL except ... the DSL ...

3/ does not seem to allow "or" so if I return <tag1> <Success/> </tag1> in one case, but <tag1> <Failure/ errorcode=code></tag1> in other case... no can do And I already wrote this entire app using this library. Welp, time to monkey patch the library to work the way I want

4/ All in all, I prefer discussion and examples over a formal spec. ...but when you're providing examples you need enough to form a basis vector and actually define, or at least IMPLY the space
