2/ A piece of advice I once read (and I can't claim that I always abide by it, but I TRY to) is to imagine that the rando who is wronging you is doing so on their very worst day. Got laid off, learned their mom has cancer, got 2 hrs sleep, etc.

3/ Sure, 99% of the time you'll be wrong, and you'll be cutting them TOO MUCH slack. ...but looking back on your life, would you rather err by cutting people too much slack, or too little?

Outside of sport events, when did it become commonplace to just start recording people like this? I’m amused by all the anti-cop rhetoric in a time where the average person is a volunteer narc.

My wife would destroy this predator. She’s confident & well-educated, who, in the best sense, is a mama bear. The downside, she calls me on my shit, but that’s a small price to pay.

She’s very attractive and naturally pleasant, but her public disposition is, “don’t fuck with me”.

I hate callout/cancel culture for this, among. Used to be if people did something mildly 'tarded... well, you point, laugh, then go home. Maybe that person learned not to be stupid, maybe not. But no major consequences. Because next time the 'tarded person could be you.

But now we quite literally judge people on their worst (documented/videoed) moments. A person could be a fucking Mother Theresa in 99.9% of their lives, but some dude captures a 'tarded moment on camera, and everybody gonna judge her by that.
