Sliding scale. Low-end is Chicago, High-end is in part "We do not have violence or guns and we call the cops" and in part "Do not fire that gun in this crowded subway car; I have never heard the word backstop and instinctively understand it ".

When seconds count, the police are hours away except in the NYC subway where there is (Er uh, was) a trio of cops in every subway station with the costs/benefits thereof.

I see blue and red tribe substantially occupying different classes underclass and UMC are predominantly blue, LMC split depending on aspirations for UMC, proletariat red elites are psychotic instrumentalists I assume

disagree there are large numbers of red in every class there are large numbers of blue in every class you are maybe being too W Coast centric; visiting Atlanta / Houston / etc is relevant
