Chickens lay 1.5 eggs/day on average. 20 people each eating 2 eggs per day require ~26-30 chickens. We fit about this many, easy, into a 12x12 coop, with access to a 30' x 30' outdoor area. Oh that sounds like a lovely climate!! Here where we are, at 750m, in the winter it hovers around 10-20°C there may be a very occasional frost and snow every few years. Right now it’s 35-40°C in the shade
