/ Assembled mobile bases for chicken processing machines. Ripped out some shelves I build in the barn 6 years ago and reinstalled them with a new spacing... allows the chicken machines to slide in beneath. A++++ am thrilled with this.pic.twitter.com/MqOsy8LVvy
/ Been meaning to build shelves in garden shed #2 since I built in (where the "I" in "I built" means "I handed the my sketch plus a check to lead farmhand"). Pulled everything outpic.twitter.com/wi7uSL1IW7
/ Farmhand hadn't done any framing before, so he put the diagonals (you need this if you're not using plywood sheething which provides sheer strength) in ATOP the framing, which is sub optimalpic.twitter.com/Azr3NvVhUe
/ I pulled all of this out, recut the diagonals, and installed them flush in the plane of the framing. Then I built shelves. (Shelves are both perfectly level; perspective plus asymetric roof that slopes down to the left makes it look weird)pic.twitter.com/9CTdbExXRF
/ Even with new improved framing, there was some trickinesspic.twitter.com/u6ARlHOemx
/ related: I love having a top-of-the-line worm-drive-Skilsaw, a top-of-the-line sliding-mitres-saw, and a top-of-the-line Powermatic cabinetmaker's table saw. Great tools make even mundane projects fun and easy.https://twitter.com/Meaningness/status/1287466819347914752 …
/ Also jacked up the CNC machine, because I' in the process of swapping out the old casters I put in there 10 years ago with a newer mobile base from Grizzly. Need some lumber delivered tho.pic.twitter.com/7bNZYclv5n
