1/ I've submitted stories to two anthologies. First told me it would be published in 2 months, then slipped the schedule 1 month per month, for almost a year and a half. I withdrew it and self-published it in three days, and it's been earning me money every since.

2/ second one signed a contract with me, telling me I'd get a statement of copies, revenues, and royalties once per quarter. Three quarters later, and no statements, despite me asking repeatedly.

If that is the Zombie one, I enjoyed the heck out of it. Small press problems: One of my first sales was a space elevator story to a small press. Decent rate too. They spent the entire three years of the contract w/ the anthology in limbo. Good intentions did not equal results.
