I'm sure it was all the "food deserts" that caused the high obesity rates in that subpop. Salon told me so.

Also, I remember pointing it out to Steve Sailer that despite having the largest airport on the continent, only the ski towns in Colorado got hit particularly hard during the initial outbreak. My working theory is that the health nuts in that state drive down illness prevalence.
