Interesting. It's sort of like the Rotary Rocket (cc @ngvrnd ), but the rocket thrust isn't from rotor tip rockets accelerating a large helicopter rotor, but from the trailing edge of turbine blades. fuel rich — what about fuel coking? i am pretty sure people have been trying to build this type of engine ( generally speaking; hybrid air breathing rocket engines ) for a while. it would be cool if they got it working.
