1/ When wife and I pondered farms ~7 years back, we made a list of possible locations: NH, Alaska, Idaho were at the top. We ditched Alaska bc of short growing season. If Florida turns from purple to blue, and Texas goes blue... I have no idea where I'd go. I'm getting to the point that I may actually be able to afford a rural home & property that meets my standards - especially since WFH is a bigger thing now. But I hesitate some.

I am having this dilemma now but all friends and family are in deep enemy territory... thinking about idaho, montana, wyoming, washington, kentucky... having a time figuring out whether/how to bring parents & how enemy/friendly areas are.
