seeing a lot of takes from people with MDs from The Teaching College of Wikipedia / Screencap "ha ha, he had a heart attack, he wasn't killed!" as if choking someone doesn't trigger heart attacks "look, his neck wasn't broken!" no one said it was so_tiresome.jpg https://t.co/Rmc8ISaaUJ

/ I do not assert with certainty that the knee on the neck killed the guy. I just find it absolutely !@#-ing plausible. If you disagree, ok. But (a) have some intellectual honesty: try to research both sides & try to disprove your initial hunch, (b) don't speak w certainty

/ One huge problem I have w the culture war (well, people on my side, but people on other side are just as bad) is they collapse multi dimensional inquiries down into a single axis. did the knee kill him? was he on drugs? are cops out of control? is Soros bad? is looting good?

/ THESE ARE DISTINCT ISSUES saying "he took drugs" or "he shoplifted 7 yrs ago" is not a rebuttal to "cops are1 aggressive" nor to "qualified immunity is bad" ...so why !@#-ing say stupid irrelevant things? Why collapse all dimensions to one? I want to say twitter is cancer

/ ...but really, it's not twitter. It's people. People are cancer, and twitter is just the delivery mechanism. I want my small asteroid with a villa.
