I'm wondering how it'd play if it were truncated to just "Lives Matter." A simple statement that you believe life inherently has worth irrespective of any of the characteristics of the person. What could possibly be offensive or objectionable about that?

More precisely, if they take umbrage to saying *that* and still insist that you must utter their particular magic words, its proof positive the goal is controlling YOU rather than a deep passion for life saving.
