1/ my back has been !@#-up & I've been in constant pain for most of a month on the one hand, this hasn't stopped me from logging, picking rocks from fields, doing engine repair, etc. ...but on the other hand, it has sucked. Sleep poorly, wake up in pain, spend the day in pain

2/ I had a break from the pain a few days ago, when some aspect of doing dumbbell rows straightened my back out. Lasted one day. Had another break just now bc of kettlebell swings and stretches. Fingers crossed it stays fixed.

3/ As much as it sucks (and it does suck - I basically wake up each day looking forward to bed, when I can not be awake / aware of the pain), it is certainly a temporary thing. I'm thinking of those poor bastards who have chronic pain that WON'T just go away in a week or two >

totally realize I'm just some dude from the internet, but fwiw... had chronic low back pain from college '04 through '16ish. Read an article on the cultural differences on how americans pick things up. It piqued my interest as I was in ecuador marveling at all the manual labor...

...and they don't have the same back issues we do. Anyway, it had to do with americans bend their back funny when lifting things up. The 3rd world-ers all keep their back completely straight and bend at the hips. "Table pose" I think is what they called it. I started making a
