2/ I had a break from the pain a few days ago, when some aspect of doing dumbbell rows straightened my back out. Lasted one day. Had another break just now bc of kettlebell swings and stretches. Fingers crossed it stays fixed.

3/ As much as it sucks (and it does suck - I basically wake up each day looking forward to bed, when I can not be awake / aware of the pain), it is certainly a temporary thing. I'm thinking of those poor bastards who have chronic pain that WON'T just go away in a week or two >

you could grow your own willow trees to harvest salicin from the bark that would let you enjoy pain relief while not compromising your do-everything-the-hard-way aesthetic
