        My completely unresearched suspicion re: slightly higher black death rate from covid is that it’s likely down to 2 things 1) Dense urban areas fare worse, and more blacks (percentagewise) live there. 2) Some studies suspect vit D link - blacks more likely to be mildly deficient

        The studies indicating a possible protective effect of Vit D are still few and tenuous - but I think especially were I black I’d be supplementing and/or making sure I got plenty of outdoor sunshine. Easy to do and couldn’t hurt.
