before breakfast: watched an Abomb79 video about extracting broken bolts after breakfast: one rear tire on the riding mower has sun rot. Took the wheel off - and sheared off a rusted bolt gah half done drilling it out, but pausing - maybe time fo oxy torch? or welding trick?

3/ anyway, right now I'm leaning towards * ordering a good extractor set for next time * MIG welding on a washer and nut to the stub * hitting axle with the oxy torch maybe take a long lunch and work on that

Yeah, skip the washer, assuming it's zinc plated, you could make matters worse.

I think I will use the washer bc I've got MIG not TIG, and I'm a sloppy welder - don't want to accidentally weld the sheared bolt to the axle !!!!
