6/ anyway, feeling pretty good * old tire off wheel * new tire on wheel * broken bolt removed only task left is seating the bead on the rim, which is going to be a bit of a bitch ; tire is squashed from storage and rim is like 4" away from seating

8/ Problem in this case (not insurmountable; I'll get it done) is that the two beads are pushed very far in away from the rim, and cranking down ratchet strap pushes beads closer together, not out towards rim

9/ Yes. Put wheel on tire changer, so wheel is supported and tire hangs down. This mostly closes the bottom bead. Then 5 gal of 100 PSI air in the bead blaster, and WHOMP! done. https://twitter.com/camoout/status/1261755974798409728?s=19 …
