2/ ok, read the article the whole "controversy" is dumb the shortage we have right now is butchering plants live pig -> carcass --- (butcher) --> cuts China buys carcasses OF COURSE we're ramping up exports of those. THAT IS BEFORE THE BOTTLE NECK

The problem we have is "(butcher)" is actually "massive processing plant with thousands of employees, so if one gets C19, within a few days most of them do and it has to shut down" We need smaller plants filling that role, to minimize the damage when one has to shut down.
