5/ I think societies are based on lower levels because they provide the rage and alliance building necessary to slaughter enemies and take their resources. 3 is the evolutionary sweet spot: laws to minimize internal feuds & wasted resource, tribal rage to kill outsiders.

I feel like I can discuss those things independently of tribal stuff. UBI, for example, has some real solid benefits if constructed well. It eliminates the need for scores of overweight Karen-esque bureaucrats in soulless government buildings since there’s less paperwork
