It will be very interesting to see how this plays out. 100% remote jobs would in theory be open to competition from the entire world, and I'm guessing a lot of white-collar Americans will not be happy with the implications.

My guess is that most companies will decide that even "100%" remote workers need to be able to come in on occasion, as a fig leaf to avoid the challenges of a global talent search and managing a global workforce.
