I finally realized I'm just ADD as hell and it's ok to put something down when I stop enjoying it. More often than not I come back to it. Finishing *anything* is another matter entirely.

Countering this tendency is why I picked up golf. My brother calls it an ideal game, in the sense that learning it has no bearing on anything but itself. The only possible reason to do it is leisure for its own sake.
