My folks have jumped from 4 weeks behind the curve to 1 week behind the curve.
I'm now trying to convince them that "minimal social contact" is still too much. Close the door, lock it, and stay inside for 2 weeks.

My advice is partially psychological (if I tell them "3 months", they bail on the conversation), partially a stalling tactic (in 2 weeks they can look around and see what's going on), and partially risk minimization. One shopping trip ever 2 weeks is better than every 3 days
