@ded_ruckus' point is only *half* the problem. Deleting stupid-ass rules in government often runs into opposition from the left for their reasons, but also from the right because too many wishcast that stupid rules only affect the "undeserving poor" -
Note that I'd be happy to stipulate that the
@ded_ruckus problem *already* makes most such things DOA. Not sure I pass the ideolgical turing test here, but it occurs to me that "cutting military" and "but foreign aid for sympathetic looking brown people" might be a mirror fail.
