Just starting this yr. Rule of thumb is 1cord / acre / yr sustainably. I burn 20 cords / winter; have 40 acres forest. Half that is either too young to log, or too hard to get to. Possible? Sure. Not ideal, tho. Far more labor per cord on 3" dia trees than 14" If you've got more land than labor, selective felling is the win.
