I feel like a lot of that growth rate is going to depend on location (and length of winters vs growing season). For northern latitudes, my expectation is that you may need double that.

Have you looked into whether coppicing would be a viable option for your forest management?

Possible? Sure. Not ideal, tho. Far more labor per cord on 3" dia trees than 14" If you've got more land than labor, selective felling is the win.
