3/ Under that, a few files for content (e.g. book.txt, book.pdf, etc.), a subdirectory for notes, a subdirectory for cover images, etc. Cover images are given version numbers, e.g. 1_original.jpg 2_new_art.jpg 3_prom_nominee_blurb.jpg 4_prom_win_blurb.jpg
4/ the text file, book.txt, does not have multiple versions saved. The whole directory is stored in git, at github, so revisions are made in version control.

What I should do is create a zHistory folder where I dump old versions. But then I also have the agent file with 10 pages, three chapters with cover sheet, 1 chapter + synopsis, expand etc. UGH!
I have several versions of my Kindle and print files because I end up finding one-off mistakes that I have to correct, and as a tech writer, I have a habit of saving all versions of everything. Lol. I label them BookTitle_Kindle-1.docx, -2.docx, etc
