This is what happens when the culture of prosecution and law enforcement is about winning and not about justice. Their goal (and their reviews are based upon) is having a great conviction record. If they don't convict enough people or take enough pleas, they get hammered

With respect, I think you’re still giving her way too much credit. I think her motivation was not so much “racking up wins” as “putting people I find icky in jail and looking serious yet cute in front of Officer McDreamy.”
