I pay attention to cars and I’m rightly afraid of being hit by one. Most people are. The fact guns are designed to kill and cars can do it as a byproduct of their purpose matters as well. The only reason anyone has to be carrying a gun is to kill. Not the case for driving.

You can argue they only want to kill someone who wants to kill them, or only want to kill an animal but the fact is that device - like the button attached to the device in your heart - only has one purpose. Killing. That’s what makes people uncomfortable & why you avoided the Q.
