(That is to say, by gaming their current sales promotions I got as much stuff as I had gift cards but I didn’t use up all my gift cards.)

Last year PetSmart had a sale where if you bought a bag of dog food you got a coupon you could use the next time you bought dog food and I went in, bought it, took it out to the car, went in, bought another one with the coupon, rinse, repeat x4.

This was as much as my calculations indicated our dog could eat before it started reaching the use-by dates. Which are not always reliable but also, five 45 pound bags of dog food takes up a lot of space.

>five 45 pound bags of dog food takes up a lot of space Tru dat We only keep about three bags on hand at a time, but then we only have about twenty pounds of dogs

One can fit EXACTLY 5.5 x 50 pound bags of Poulon Pig feed (also Sheep feed or Chicken feed) into a 58 gallon / 220 liter food barrel https://www.amazon.com/Grade-Barrel-Washed-Perfect-Gallon/dp/B076R6S2VH …

(also - exactly 5.5 bags sounds like an extremely unhelpful quantity)

if you have two barrels, that's 11 bags if you have 8 barrels, that's 44 bags. which is a useful number if you feed store gives a price break at 40+ bags
