guys, I almost never travel but these days I'm starting to, a bit (visit frens in TX, etc.) I'm comparing flights on Expedia * is that the best place to do this? * where do I look to compare reviews of various airports for transfers? * is there a good site reviewing planes?

3/ akshually, I know LaGuardia and ATL, and I'm choosing the latter, no question. But I'm still looking for a general tool that the Smart Folks use.

Southwest through Manchester is sometimes a very good value. Logan even more so. And I don’t think SWA shows up on those flights

Use
@SeatGuru. Use ITA to find the best routing. Use@flightaware if there's a specific tail number you want to fly. -
lol , I discovered that a few minutes ago on my own ; looks like a great tool ; thx

In the case you're mentioning, I recommend avoiding the Mad Dog (MD88) whenever possible.

oh? expand, plz seats too narrow? Seatguru tells me that first class seats there are 19.6" wide, compared to ~ 21" in most other planes. However, if I want to fly out of MHT (Manchester NH), that seems to be most of the flights ... :(
