Thanks, although I was (obliquely, poorly) asking a different question. Does your analysis also apply to the pro-life position?

personally, being strongly religiously pro-life I happily acknowledge that pro-abortion people have all kinds of motivations for their positions, most of which aren't "they're just evil for the sake of it" this is a bad take no matter what it's about
