Done removing ashes from the boiler and loading a few hundred lbs of firewood. Next up: gym (mils!), shower, working on the outline for Aristillus 3 and 4. Maybe a sip somewhere in the middle as a reward if I hit gym goals.

About the same size on the outside as the one my father uses (his is forced air, not water) but his firebox would not hold hundreds of lb of wood. And if you filled it up it would drive you out of the house with heat. You were busy, nice stacked piles

wood is heavy ; doesn't take much to make "hundreds of pounds". I'm picturing 50 lb feed sacks, and I'm sure I could fit 20 of them in there, so 1,000 lbs. Even if wood packs poorly and thus the resulting pile is half air ...
