The nature of the agents for such a question are key to the answer. So, for example, if my toddler doesn't want to put on a coat and it's 10 degrees out, and I put a coat on him anyway, that's an appropriate use of force; but doing the same to a non-toddler is different.

If you start with networks of familial bonds, and with disparately capable agents, you inevitably come to different conclusions about force than if you start with equally adult, rational, atomized individuals. Nozick chose the latter, and it conditions his conclusions.
