Just derecognize it. Parties have done that in the past; the national party can just, for example, declare a random or a stratified random assignment of primary dates and not seat delegates elected on unauthorized dates.

Interesting. FWIW, I hate state governments recognizing the parties and allowing them to hold elections in government facilities without compensation. Parties are private organizations, like Scouts or Microsoft.
