Two things are inevitable: it's never delivered like, "Hey are these legs long enough? Something about the proportion bothers me." This would be annoying coming from some rando, but not as bad as the actual, universal, "wow sweety, you're so good, but let me help you" tone (2/)

when I first started playing chess and had a ranking of like 500 (i.e. garbage, 2nd grader level) some guy at http://chess.com with maybe a 600 or a 700 ranking (i.e. also garbagea) beat me and then took to chat to give me tons of unsolicited advice I let him blather then
