oh, this is fun when you upload a cover image to Amazon KDP, they yell at you if it's the wrong size ...well ,if it's OBVIOUSLY the wrong size if it's close their tools, apparently, just paste it over a white background that's a pixel or two wider ...and then >>>

2/ ANOTHER tool in the tool chain detects that there's a white border 2 pixels wide on the right hand side, and gives you an automated message by email saying "your image needs to be wider so that if it gets cropped, it still shows up well" So you log into the KDP interface >>

3/ And they show you your image. There are three crop lines overlaid onto your image: * inner crop * middle crop * outermost edge in three different colors. My cover image looked PERFECT. WTF? well...their outer crop line SITS ATOP THE IMAGE and ... covers the error

4/ ...so it wasn't until I called customer support and they looked at the image using some other tool that they saw the 1 pix wide white line on the far right hand side. GAH
