I'd gladly take a ladle of Morlock general advice for a young lad like me.

> wondering what to do next what do you WANT to do? do you want to earn more money? Find a job that you enjoy more? Have some "me" time for self improvement like gym or learning guitar? Or have some "me" time for silly fun shit like videogames or comic books?

All of that? Money would be nice but I’m comfortable where I live and what I do and it comes with a pension though I’m open to it. Personal improvement particularly via the gym is necessary. I probably have enough video game time at the moment

ok, so the only thing I heard was "personal improvement". Gym is an excellent one. Is that the one you want? If so, you know what to do. ...or is it not? Do you want to do something else instead / in addition ?

I have a bench and freeweights in the garage. I’ve started and stopped that a number of times but want to get in shape and whatnot to set a good example for the kids

so the one concrete thing I've heard is "I want to lift ... and I've started, but then I've stopped". So, maybe, the trick is "how do I KEEP lifting?", yes? if so, one piece of advice: commit in public, make lifting frens on twitter, check in w them and they'll check in w you
