also, I'd suggest that a scale (logorithmic ?) of how long one can go without income is important idle rich = lifetime very well off = 1-2 years decently well off = 6 months ?? = 1 month paycheck-to-paycheck = 0 folks with a successful startup exit get many points here

"yeoman" doesn't mean farmer (why would it, if the phrase is "yeoman farmer" ?). "Yeoman" means "self owned; not working on someone else's assets". TJ wasn't praising agriculture; he was praising independence and self-employment! And this makes so much sense! Everyone I've met

who is self employed, or has been for a few years, has a MUCH better grasp on reality, and an abundance mindset that pure employees never have, even if they have good politics. When you eat what you kill, as opposed to eat what you're given, you realize that hunting is possible.
