I feel like you can have enough cops to intimidate into compliance or have one or two cops end up needing to tackle and cuff someone for non compliance Can’t win for losing on their end

I wish we hadn't regulated and zoned microenterprise entrepreneurship like hers virtually out of existence. She's trying to rely on herself to earn a living; good! I wish there were more like her.

I loved eating out of sidewalk buffet/food markets overseas. Cheap, delicious food and a lot of self-reliant providers. It's how many American immigrants got their start; almost impossible now.

Or at least open competitive bidding among merchants for the right to use that space. If she wins the auction, then she can stay.

They have a system to allow licensed buskers in certain areas that are large enough. So they do allot the space, just not for food probably bc of hygiene concerns. And there are a few kiosks that are built into the station structure that can sell candy bars, water, newspapers...
