I used a recipe by Ruhlman, from his book Charcuterie. His blog has similar recipe http://ruhlman.com/2010/10/12/home-cured-bacon-2/ … Bacon cure is washed off, tho, so far too salty for a brisket rub...but maybe adapt it? Also I think @unhygenicmacro smokes brisket?
