Using my framing - 'likely to have severe negative consequences' isn't the same as 'wrong'. Unless you mean '... for other people', in which case it could arguably be wrong, but I'd want it to be clearly wrong before labeling it as such and bringing society's condemnation.

Not at all! I merely think we need to have high bars to clear before we declare that some particular moral principle is worth enforcing using all the scorn and shame society can bring to bear. In particular, I want to distinguish one person's morality from the common morality.

society is "a large coordinated group" I never interact with groups, I tend to hate them, and they tend to hate me were I a popular movie star or a guy with 1 million podcast listeners, yes, perhaps my opinions are similar to "attempts to have society enforce a standard"
