I learned about 2-strokes when I used to road race motorcycles. I raced an open class 4-stroke superbike, but my younger brother raced a 160+ mph 250cc 2-stroke GP bike—a machine whose power delivery was always trying to kill the rider. I note that modern GP bikes are 4-strokes.
