I don't know of any great/ necessary SF novels < 200 pages (yes, I saw the candidates above, don't concur with any). My statement is an artistic one; has nothing to do with indie vs tradpub.

Just checked my shelf - my starship troopers is 208, but I have a handful of solid f herbert novels for <200 (whipping star, 21st cent sub, eyes of heisenberg, destination:void, etc) and le Guin's 'lathe of heaven'.
