I continue to be curious why they even exist. Market research bots?

Oh, yes, I entirely don't understand why anybody finds them attractive but it's very clear that people do - tastes vary, shockingly enough. I'm just fascinated by the what they do question. Selling gamer girl bathwater was at least legible (and hilarious).

I actually know the answer to this. Katie Bell is part of rich unabashed scumbag Dan Bilzerian's posse / harem of models. The business behind all of this is Ignite, which makes cannabis vapes or something? Maybe is a weed brand itself? Idk, but the models are "brand ambassadors"

I find the whole thing fascinating, so I read a bunch of articles about Dan Bilzerian, and I follow him and a few of his girls on Instagram, and I subscribe to Katie Bell's subreddit. it's smart monetization of horny guys who follow thots on Instagram and smoke weed

But how does it monetise? (still genuinely confused)

through Ignite! all of this is advertising for Ignite. it's lifestyle porn with a particular weed brand ubiquitous throughout. https://ignite.co/

Advertising / lifestyle branding is so foreign. I'm in a very small, weird demo, so basically NOTHING is pitched at me. I am the Martian anthropologist.
